Beginning January 6th (and for approximately 4 days thereafter) the San Diego Water Authority will be working on the main artery water pipe line behind Belsera in Mission Trails State Park.
The good news is that they will be only accessing the large underground pipe line through the “bunker type structures” and then cleaning and repairing from within the line. There should be no digging or blasting work as a result. The water that runs through this pipe will be diverted into another line for a few days. This in no way will affect your water source.
There will be a large (fire engine size) truck and several work vehicles accessing the entrance into the park off of Portobelo Drive at the main entrance into Belsera during the four day period. No cranes, no digging, nor blasting is expected in this area.
If additional information becomes available, it will be posted for your information.
