Please Recycle!
It is important for everyone in San Diego to recycle as much as we can as we are running out of landfill space.
The Tierrasanta community bins are located at the Recreation Center and at the east end of Tierrasanta Blvd. where you can drop off:
Aluminum and steel cans
Glass bottles and jars
Newpaper The Miramar Landfill is nearby (take 52 west, exit Convoy to the right and the first right is Miramar Landfill.) You can also recycle:
Plastic milk and water bottles
Cardboard
Mixed or white paper, magazines and phone books
Scrap metal
Plastic marked HEPA 1 or 2
Some appliances

They are open every day from 7:30 to 4:30
Household Hazardous Waste Hotline (619) 235-2111. They take used motor oil, antifreeze, batteries, latex paint products, etc.
